The visa cancellation agreement between Grenada and Ukraine has been approved.

Oleksiy Honcharuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, confirmed this during the government session, according to 112.international.

This allows travellers from both countries to travel to Ukraine or Grenada without a visa for a maximum of 90 days within the consecutive 180-day period.

The agreement is to be signed by the Ukrainian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Natalya Halibarenko.

The new rules for obtaining visas from EU member states entered into force on 2 February.

This new regulation also concerns citizens of Ukraine.

These rules simplify applying for visas for legal visitors in Europe and facilitate the development of tourism, sport and business.

In addition, it provides more means to counteract the risk of illegal migration and threats to internal security.
