Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports called on all its residents who have Final Exit, Exit and Return Visas to cancel them before their expiry.

Middle East North Africa Financial Network reports residents have been ordered to do so in order to avoid the prescribed fines following the suspension of international flights in Saudi Arabia to combat the coronavirus.

The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that the validity of the visas can be verified and cancelled by entering the electronic services platform of the Ministry of Interior, Absher, or through the electronic portal, Muqeem, affirming the need to adhere to the regulations and instructions in order to avoid fines prescribed by law against violators.
