Ir. Prof. Raymond Wong served the Hong Kong Immigration Department from 1972 until his retirement in 2007, focusing on information technology and identification documents. He is a renowned expert in the field of document security and border control. He is the Adjunct Professor of the Computing Department of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a part-time professor of the Biometric Research Centre of the University. Raymond has been an independent consultant for international organisations and immigration authorities for countries around the world on documents, border control systems and biometrics applications.
