Ir. Prof. Raymond Wong

Ir. Prof. Raymond Wong served the Hong Kong Immigration Department from 1972 until his retire­ment in 2007, focusing on information tech­nology and identification documents. He is a renowned expert in the field of document security and border control. He is the Adjunct Professor of the Computing Depart­ment of Hong Kong Poly­technic University and a part-time professor of the Biometric Research Centre of the University. Raymond has been an independent consultant for international organi­sations and immigration authorities for countries around the world on documents, border control systems and biometrics applications.
