Dr. Ing. Volker Lohweg

Dr. Ing. Volker Lohweg (1960) is an electrical engineer by education. He studied at Lippe University of Applied Sciences, the University of Paderborn and the Technical University of Chemnitz. He began his career at Eltromat GmbH, a German processing systems for the printing industry. In 2000 Volker joined Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) and founded KBA-Bielefeld, a subsidiary for image processing and measurement systems. In 2004 he was offered a Professorship for Discrete Systems at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Volker is currently heading the Discrete Systems Research Group.
