Helar Laasik

Helar Laasik holds the position of Chief Expert at the Identity and Documentation Bureau of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board and has been involved in identity document design, procurement and issuance for the past eight years. He was project manager for the first generation Estonian e-Passports, during which he was active in the communication with producers, experts from other countries and also issuers, to achieve the current high security level of the Estonian identity documents.
